Welcome to my academic homepage. I am an Assistant Professor in the Faculty
of Law and Letters at the University of the
Ryukyus. I
work
primarily in the areas of formal semantics and
pragmatics, with an empirical focus on discourse particles and related
phenomena in the languages of Japan. My recent work has been focused on
endangered languages of the Ryukyus. I combine formal modeling with
computational and quantitative methods in my work, which can be found here.
